Forbes Genealogy
The following have contributed data toward my Forbes research:
Debra Mills - My first new cousin found on the Internet. I was lost in the water until I hooked up with Debra. She is the one who helped me to get this thing kick-started and I owe a debt of gratitude to her.
Patricia Spangler - Thanks for all your patience with me, Mom! I appreciate you letting me scan so many pictures and all the other help and support you have given to me!
Juanita Kirkland - Shared quite a bit of info and some great old snapshots.
Rae Kesler - My late aunt, who I was able to sit around the table with and gather so much information. I miss those chats and the way she had of just brightening a room with her smile!
Winnie Malley - Donated a plaque with the Forbes History on it, also donated several pictures and some valuable info.
Maxine Cantrell - By the time I was able to hook up with Maxine, I had gathered quite a bit of info. However, she was able to give me so much from her 20 years of research. The pictures of my great-grandparents and my 2nd great-grandparents are priceless. I long to find a way to get back with her.
Sylvia Bishop - Although I didn't do a lot of research through her personally, she is the one who was feeding info to my aunt Rae. I appreciate all her help!
Chris Cook - Though no direct relation, Chris was so kind in obtaining many items for me including deeds, wills, pictures of tombstones and many other great items to help me in my research. I would have never gotten them without her help. She was, and hopefully someday will be again, my connection in Wisconsin!
Jared Sommer - I am very thankful for the CD and the pictures and data that Jared sent to help me on the Beal side.
Hubert Bender - Though no relation, he provided many obituaries that pertained around the Blackjack area.
Lester Hansen - Lester is a great storyteller! Thanks for your help, Lester. I appreciate the pictures you shared of Uncle Bert and the letter you shared!
