For the next few days I will feature a few obituaries I have recently began to acquire. I’m still researching my Stevenson side, I’ve just gone a little higher in my research. I’m currently researching the siblings of my 3rd-great-grandfather, James Stevenson. Surprisingly, a lot of his brother’s descendants are found right here in my backyard! So, before I decide to make the move to North Carolina, I figured I better start grabbing what I can right now!
Today, I will offer up the obituary for George Cicero Hart. He is the great-grandnephew of James Stevenson!
Blossom — Funeral services for George Cicero Hart, will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Methodist Church here. He died Saturday in Paris at Lamar Hospital. Carl Griffin, funeral director, will have charge.
