One last thing to post tonight. It goes hand in hand with what I posted earlier.
The third child I found in my grandfather’s first marriage was named Julia Mae Katherine Spangler. This means that I had to tell my youngest daughter that she is no longer an original! She had always said there are no other Julia Spanglers around and I thought she was right. Now I’ve confirmed that she wasn’t the first.
She’s OK with it but it is interesting, isn’t it? Somehow we come up with names that we think are original in our family and then discover that we are so wrong!
