Whoever Said Sorting Photos Is Easy….

is crazy!!!!

I’ve been working since yesterday trying to sort through some of my pictures. I’ve been going through just my personal collection of photos and it is very time consuming. Sorting through 20 years of pictures of my wife, my son, my two daughters and myself. I spent most of yesterday sorting them by year (as best as I could figure) and trying to make sure that I had all of them. Nobody needs any strays running around!

Today, I started to put them in albums. Most of the albums they were in were old and needed to be replaced. I spent $40 dollars on 4 nice albums at Tuesday Morning. One album held photos from 1989, 1990 and 1991 with the 1991 spilling over into a second album. 1988 didn’t count for much since we got married in August 1988 and really didn’t have any pictures during that time. I guess we were too busy with other things! :-)

So, I’m contemplating if 4 albums are going to be enough. At the current rate I would have to buy at least 3 or 4 more albums. That would be about $75 for albums! I guess sorting pictures is not cheap either!

Oh yes, let’s not forget that my wife is about ready to strangle me! You should have seen her face when I handed her a stack of pictures and said “Why don’t we just throw these away?” After seeing that they were either way too dark to see anything or that the heads were cut off or something even worse, she reluctantly agreed! I may need a marriage counselor after this! :-)

Well, I have another album to put together. I’ll write back more on my progress tomorrow!
