For years I have just put my research into binders and added new info as needed, rearranging my binders and info as needed. Of course, that was alright when I only had a couple of binders. Now, with almost 3000 individuals to account for and that growing quite often, it is time to come up with a better plan!
Over the next few weeks (or months) I will start to rearrange everything one last time. I am now going to go with a numbering system. I will start with myself and add everything under Marriage #1. My mom and dad will be under marriage #2, and so on. This way, everything will be easily located. Each individual will have a number but the marriages will be the easiest way to just put everyone together with some kind of logic!
It seems I have a million and one projects going right now but at least I do have something going! I’m looking forward to being able to finally get everything organized.
