Hello everyone!
Today, I just wanted to take a moment and fill everyone in on my progress in learning the fine art of blogging. Yes, blogging is a personal web log but to be read you have to provide some sort of content that will appeal to everyone.
My initial goal was to provide this as a way of keeping folks informed about my research and what was happening on my web site. After a few weeks of doing a blog and reading so many other great blogs that are out there, I have come to understand that there is so much more opportunity for bloggers than I could have ever imagined.
I have learned that through blogs you can educate folks about genealogy, you can learn about researching, organizing, writing, creating and so much more. With this in mind, I hope to expand my blog a little further than I ever planned. No, I am not an expert nor will I ever be. However, I can use my blog to further the understanding of genealogy research and of introducing my readers to so many more great bloggers out there who can help you realize the potential you have to become a successful researcher.
In the days ahead, I hope to introduce you to some of these fine blogs and to also broaden my topics so that you can learn along with me!
